We don't personally have rental vehicles, and we do not have "free loaners".  We do however work with both Enterprise and Hertz to get you cars at discounted rates as well as to have the rental car here for you when you drop your vehicle off.

A direct repair shop is where you/we don't have to have an insurance adjustor come out to inspect the vehicle.  We will gather all the necessary information and communicate directly with the insurance company, including billing.

We are currently a direct repair shop for AAA, Progressive, Citizens (The Hanover Group), SafeCo, and one other which we are not allowed to mention on the internet.

Payment of your deductible and any other applicable charges such as betterment is always due at the time you pick your vehicle up.  In the case of a claim with an insurance company that we are a direct repair shop for we will handle the rest of the billing.  For insurance companies we are not a direct repair for they will either send the check to us, or in many cases, to you as a two-party check (made out to both you and us).  In that case you will also need to bring any checks sent to you from your insurance company and sign them over to us at the time you pick up your vehicle.

Insurance companies will charge you, in addition to your deductible, what is called betterment if it applies.  Betterment applies to "wearable items" which may vary depending on each insurance company.  Tires and suspension parts are the biggest items where betterment can apply but each insurance company has it's own rules.  Betterment is determined by the amount of the item that is used.  The insurance company pays for the amount left at the time of accident, and you pay for the amount you used.  In the case of tires this is determined by the amount of tread left compared to a new tire, and then the percentage applied to the price of the new tire.

Gentile's Collision guarantees all repair work to be of the generally accepted repair standards in the automobile repair industry for the lifetime of the vehicle. Any defects in workmanship will be rectified unless caused by unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle.  To attain service under this guarantee please give us a call so that we may further assist you.
